Job Description Summary
The Administrative Associate provides research proposal management, project, and administrative support primarily for the Vice Provost and, in some instances, for other administrators and staff in the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost.
The person in this position reports to the Executive Assistant to the Provost.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with four years of responsible administrative support experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint), and Adobe Acrobat Pro, DocuSign, and Zoom video conferencing.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with web-based research administration software/ tools.
- Experience with maintaining databases and spreadsheets.
- Experience booking travel arrangements, calendaring, scheduling meetings, and preparing meeting minutes.
An equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge can be acquired may be considered.
The ideal candidate is an agile, self-starter comfortable with attention to detail; an energetic, creative problem solver who is able to work independently along with the judgment to seek supervision and/or input from others when necessary; a resilient learner with the capacity to quickly learn new skills involving software; the ability to responsibly manage competing priorities; and commitment to the ideals of a major public research university.
