At Fortrea, our world-class Clinical Research Unit in Leeds sits at the heart of innovation. Just a short 7-minute walk from the train station, this 65,000 ft², 100-bed facility is a cornerstone of our global operations. Dedicated to Early Clinical Research, it’s where life-saving medicines begin their journey.
And this is where you come in because we are expanding and now seeking our new Admin. Assistant:
- Full-time, clinic-based job in Drapers Yard, Leeds.
- 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

WHO YOU ARE
- Proven experience in providing administrative support in an international environment, including invoice processing, payments and archiving.
- Required: advanced proficiency with Microsoft office programs (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc.)
- Educated to GCSE level.
- Ability to live and work in the UK (we cannot sponsor for this role
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with many interruptions. Flexibility, anticipation, and advanced organizational skills are key for adjusting to changing daily priorities.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and establish secure filing procedures
ON A NORMAL DAY, YOU WILL…
Provide broad and varied administrative support to the Clinical Pharmacology Services team, including:
- Processing invoices in our financial system
- Processing payments for the clinical trial participants
- Supporting the Global Vendor Management Team with local specific vendors (i.e. tracking contracts, overseeing payments, etc.)
- Maintaining departmental files (training files, client contract files, project files…)
- Archiving and maintenance of complex and confidential documentation in content management platforms (e.g. CTMS, Veeva Vault, etc.)
- Taking meeting minutes
- Assisting with department’s efforts on scheduling activities including client visits travel arrangements, scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, agendas, etc.
- Cross-functional communication with all the Clinic teams and vendors
